Set up in 2008, Amma Group was the brainchild of Philip Baldwin and Mahyar Makhzani; both with extensive experience in luxury goods and with a particular interest in coloured diamonds and precious stones.
Initially set up as a fund specialising in coloured diamonds, for qualified investors, Amma Group has grown to include Amma
Privé,
creating exquisite
bespoke jewellery and Amma Advisory, offering expert analytical, strategic and tactical advice for the luxury goods sector.
With experience across the luxury goods and various continents, Mahyar began his career with Habsburg as Director and Auctioneer, he then went onto Mouawad as Group Manager for the US, before moving to Bulgari as the Managing Director for Switzerland and Eastern Europe. Most recently he was the Group Managing Director for Enigma.
Similarly, Philip’s experience has spanned the luxury goods value chain, beginning his career as a buyer of gems & stones for Baldwin, Pither and Rabey Ltd, a well respected jewellery manufacturer with customers including Cartier, Boucheron and Bulgari; before moving on to Tiffany as Store Manager for their flagship store in London; then becoming Director of Kiki McDonough and most recently as Managing Director of Bulgari UK.

Our Team
Eric Andersen
Eric is Head of Fund Structure & Compliance and Director of Eclipse Consulting LLC and Eclipse Management B.V., a company management firm licensed and regulated by the Central Bank under the laws of Curaçao.
His experience in the Hedge Fund Industry began in 1987 working for companies including MeesPierson Fund Services (currently Fortis Fund Services) and Price Waterhouse (currently PriceWaterhouse Coopers).
Previously, he was the Managing Director of Amicorp Fund Services N.V. from March 2000 until December 2003. Mr. Andersen is a certified public accountant in the state of California.
Sally-Ann Farrington
Sally-Ann is an MBA trained marketer, having completed what has been described as the most advanced and applied Brand Management course available anywhere in the world. Her experience spans more than 20 years and covers diverse luxury industries including jewellery, watches, accessories, menswear, golf and wine.
In 2011, Sally-Ann was awarded the Exceptional Achievement in Cause Related Marketing at the Save the Children Corporate Business Awards.
Frustrated by the lack of strategic knowledge in marketing decision-making, Sally-Ann joined Amma Group to help organisations understand the need for a framework driven by consumer insight, as an essential prerequisite to the use of creative marketing tools.
Carol Jenkin
Mrs. Carol Jenkin is a Director of Eclipse Management B.V., a company management firm licenced and regulated by the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten.
Mrs. Jenkin has worked in the offshore sector in the Curaçao market since 2007. She holds a Master's degree in Law, is a member of the Antillean Lawyers Association and the Institute of Directors (London) and is a CIMA licensed professional director.
Mrs. Jenkin holds dual citizenship in the Netherlands and Colombia, is fluent in four languages and currently resides in Curaçao.
Steve Parrant
Steve has over 20 years experience in inventory management, financial administration and revenue assurance.
During the last four years he has provided forensic accounting and inventory management services to bullion dealers in the United Kingdom.
From January 2011 to September 2014 he was the Cost of Sales Manager for PTGi International Carrier Services Ltd (HCHC : NYSE) managing global teams and ensuring the integrity of over £500 million in telecommunications revenue per year, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
